Anne Mutie
Anne Mutie is an author and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya specialising in corporate compliance. For over 17 years, she has advised organizations across various sectors on building resilient compliance frameworks and navigating complex regulatory environments.
Anne’s debut book, Data Protection in Kenya: Case Law, is a concise reference guide to key data protection decisions made by the High Court and Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya. The book is celebrated for its clarity and accessibility, making it an indispensable resource for legal practitioners, compliance professionals, and business leaders.
As a recognized thought leader, Anne is also a distinguished speaker and trainer, frequently leading workshops and seminars on data privacy and corporate compliance. She holds an Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of Nairobi and an LL.M. in Corporate and Insolvency Law from Nottingham Trent University.
When not writing or consulting, Anne enjoys spending time with her family and developing innovative tools to support organizations in achieving their compliance goals.
